ReKnew Nutrition
Certified in Holistic Nutrition
Nutrition Consultant (Certified), Workshop Instructor
After a long history in business & accounting, Lynn Webb changed careers into nutrition at the age of 50. She struggled with weight and other female perimenopausal issues and attended school to get her Certification in Holistic Nutrition in order to figure out the problems with her own body.
During this time, her father suffered (and survived) a major heart attack. Through that struggle, Lynn then became acutely aware of how nutrition affects your body, your health, and your quality of life. Knowing that the same diseases tend to run in families, she became acutely interested in obesity, metobolic syndrome, diabetes, heart disease and is committed to understanding it and helping others understand the importance of nutrition.
She focuses on working with perimenopausal aged women over 40 that have the same struggles that she faces every day. She helps them understand how to measure success in their body, how their lifestyle can affect their health, understanding the care options if disease strikes, and how to overcome the challenges. Lynn still struggles with weight, but she is now comfortable knowing that her body is healthy and this is a “norm” to her, knowing that everyone is unique and that the biochemistry of each person’s body is unique to that person. She knows that food is fuel, but our body needs to figure it out. As she laughs, “Nobody knows the struggles of a fat person like another fat person” and “Nobody understands menopause until you are hit with it”.
Now instead of fighting her body, Lynn uses all her business savvy and expertise to help other health providers maximize their business so that they are available to help others, as well as coach in her own small practice.
